Set up your Nimbus Cloud

Each piece has its own step-by-step guide and video, and do not worry there is no need to bring out the tool-box, everything you need comes in the box packaged together in each box. 

Before you start

  • Cushions expand in 48–72 hrs

MODUBite™ System

Connecting your pieces

Push two pieces together and place a MODUBite™ clip across the seam underneath, with one half on each piece. Tighten its two screws with the Allen key from the box. Do this for every pair and your sofa stays tight and gap-free.

Want a new layout later? Undo the screws, move your pieces and clip them back together.

Assembly FAQ

Do I need any tools?

Only the Allen key that comes in the box, and you only use it to tighten the MODUBite™ clips that connect your pieces. The legs screw in by hand, and the ottoman needs no tools at all.

My cushions look flat. Is that normal?

Yes. Cushions ship vacuum-packed and start expanding as soon as you open them. Give them 48 to 72 hours to reach their full shape. You can use your sofa in the meantime, and fluffing them now and then helps.

Can I rearrange my pieces later?

Anytime. Undo the screws on the MODUBite™ clips, move your pieces into their new spots and clip them back together.

Does the ottoman lock to the sofa?

No. The Hidden Storage Ottoman is made to move freely, so you can use it as a footrest, an extra seat or to extend your sofa wherever you like.

Can I wash the covers?

Yes. Every cover comes off. Machine wash cold or warm, or hot for heavier stains, and air dry. Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth.

What if something breaks later?

Every Nimbus Cloud comes with our 5-Year Limited Structural Warranty, covering manufacturing defects in the frame, joints, seat support, MODUBite™ connectors and legs. See our Warranty page for details and how to make a claim.
